Privacy policy
How Keychron Charity handles your personal data.
1. Who is the data controller?
Gandalf Distribution AB (org. no. 556536-9476), Mårtenstorget 7, 223 51 Lund, Sweden, is the data controller for the data collected in this competition. T1K AB is the data processor and operates the technology.
Data protection enquiries: keychron@gandalf.se
2. What do we collect?
When you enter the competition we store:
- Email address – so we can contact you if you win
- Phone number (optional) – alternative way to reach you if you win
- Your answer to the competition question – constitutes your entry
- Timestamp of your entry and your GDPR consent
- Which retailer or channel led you here (via the UTM parameter in the link)
- Technical information: a hashed IP address (sha256 with salt, not the IP itself) and your browser user-agent – to counter abuse
We do not store your name, home address, personal identity number or sensitive data.
3. Why do we collect this?
- To run the competition and contact winners
- To prevent duplicate entries and abuse
- To understand which retailer channels engage participants (aggregated statistics)
Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
4. Who do we share data with?
- T1K AB – operates the technology, has no independent right to use the data
- The Rainbow Foundation receives aggregated figures (number of participants, total amount), not personal data
- No selling or sharing with third parties for marketing
5. How long is data kept?
Entry data is stored during the campaign (1–30 June 2026) and for as long as needed to run the competition: winners are chosen by a jury after the campaign and contacted by email in August, after which the keyboards are sent out. Entry data is then deleted manually, no later than 31 October 2026.
Aggregated statistics (number of participants per campaign/retailer) may be kept longer without any personal link.
6. Your rights
- Access – see what data we hold about you
- Rectification – have us correct inaccurate data
- Erasure – be "forgotten", i.e. removed from our records (this forfeits the chance to win)
- Data portability – receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent – at any time
- Lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) if you believe we handle your data incorrectly
Contact keychron@gandalf.se to exercise your rights.
7. Cookies and tracking
The site uses an analytics tracker (doable-tracker,
doable.services)
to measure which retailer channels drive participation.
The first time you visit the site a consent banner is shown and
no events are sent before you click "Accept".
Your choice is stored for 1 year in a cookie (dt_consent).
What the tracker sends: page views (page.view),
button clicks (cta.click), and successful entries
(form.submit) – together with
campaign context (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) and
technical context (browser, OS, device, session ID).
The tracker does not send name, email, phone,
personal identity number or any other personal data – these are blocked
both in the browser and on the server side.
Retention at doable-tracker: raw events 7 days, daily aggregations 2 years. IP addresses are anonymised (SHA-256 hashing). The browser's "Do Not Track" signal is respected.
A technical marker (the UTM parameter from the retailer's link) is also stored in your browser's localStorage for up to 30 minutes -- this is used only so the campaign can attribute your entry to the right retailer if you navigate between pages.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change the policy, the version number below is bumped. We store which version you consented to when you entered, so you can always see exactly what you agreed to.
